RIVERDALE                Riverdale's Masiah Jones and Demario Spear combine for 34 points to complete the regular-season sweep over North Clayton and improve to 9-4.

Jones and Spear showcased their range in the first half, connecting on four of Riverdale's five triples. The Raiders scored primarily from the perimeter rather than the inside.

Eagles Freshman Brandon Battle (22 points) hit three 3-pointers in the first half to keep his team within distance as they trailed 27-18.

North Clayton outscored Riverdale in the third quarter 14-12 thanks to Battle's hot hand and senior Keshaun Dixon's 7 point quarter.

Riverdale switched from scoring on outside to focusing on the inside as they scored 18 in the fourth and limited the Eagles to nine. The Raiders played the passing lanes to get fast break points to get their largest lead of the night with 14.

Spear put the finishing touches on the game with an emphatic dunk to help his team move to third in their region.

The Raiders will be on the road  from their next game as they face the Fayette County Tigers January 7.
